In the age we live in, we have never had access to more information than we do this generation. The Mcgraw-Hill handbook provided a lot of useful info on databases to look for research. In addition, it explored how many forms of information there are. Diversifying your sources is the best way to get the most information. It is just as important to a well-rounded paper to have scholarly sources as it is to have more informal sources. Diversifying the types of information, you gather helps ensure that you’re exploring the optimal amount of aspects of your topic. Personally, I’m writing about a community of women escaping sexual violence. If I only studied scholarly articles for my paper, I would be missing out on so many interesting documentaries and podcasts that provide a wealth of knowledge into the psychological and real-world facets of my topic. In addition, when researching I think this chapter of the handbook would be a good one to recall if you get stuck. Having valuable research is important to create a quality research paper. Especially because our research papers have a self-interest aspect.
